Marijuana
Marijuana is the most widely used illicit drug in the US and
tends to be one of the first illegal drugs teens use. The physical
effects of marijuana use, particularly on developing adolescencts,
can be acute.
Physical
& Physiological Effects
Potential cardiac dangers for those with preexisting
heart disease. Paranoia, hallucinations, cancer risk, and decrease
in testosterone levels for men while increase in testosterone
levels for women. Marijuana also blocks the messages going to
your brain and alters your perceptions, and emotions, vision,
hearing, and coordination.
FACT:
Excstacy can produce unpredictable erratic,
and violent behavior which can lead to serious illness or death.
